We added an Upsell Engine section to the Talkulate AI CPQ product page — and the underlying mechanics ship with every deployment.
The engine listens for context the customer drops during the interview — budget hints, work mode, growth plans, missing systems, team skill gaps — and converts those signals into validated upsell SKUs in real time. Three deterministic mechanics, each tied to rules in your catalog:
- Context Triggers — work mode, industry, operating environment → supporting hardware (VPN appliances, encrypted storage, redundant power).
- Investment Shield — mission-critical workload, growth plans, tight budget → protection and financing (warranty, SLA, capacity headroom, installment plans).
- Additional Services Detector — team skill or capacity gaps → bundled services (installation, onboarding, managed support, training).
